I asked about this when I was in during the week and I was told that apparently when they do a keyhole bypass the gadgets they stick inside you are in the wrong position or direction (cant remember which) for getting to the gall bladder and that getting everything in the right position adds quite a bit of time to the op. I have no idea what direction they are facing as I didnt ask
