Do you HAVE to loose more weight after the 5%

And did any of you put on when you started eating again, if so how long did it take for your body to loose again. I heard after being on a liquid diet you may put on as your body will cling onto the food incase you try to 'starve' it again. Since starting to eat tues night I haven't lost anymore.

Also what happens when you meet the surgeon?

You don't have to lose more but you have to try and maintain. You will lose more anyway when they put you on the pre-op 2 week milk diet again. They told me that if I put on a kilo it wouldnt be the end of the world, but if you dont stay around the same weight, then they could refuse surgery! When you meet Mr Jambu, he will talk through the procedure, feel your abdomen, get you to sign the consent forms and get his diary out! That is the time to ask any questions, because you won't see him again until the day of surgery. Good luck!

Oh, and I lost a bit more pre-surgery, just by being sensible in the first instance, and also due to the pre-op milk diet fortnight.

Thank you! That's brilliant x
