Mash after surgery

I'm craving mash so bad at the moment

i soooo looked forward to having mash & gravy, it was my first "meal" in the puree stage, 3 half teaspoons & i was stuffed, my fav now is 1/3 weetabix biscuit with loads of warm milk mmmmm!

Mash was my first meal when I moved onto puree too, mash and gravy never tasted so good!

Could you blend up some leek and potato soup? That might be close enough taste wise for liquids?

I can eat a bit of potato but rarely bother. After I've eaten protein then veg I rarely have carbs as I'm full.

Yea I concentrate on the protein, but post op for the puree stage I went for the mash and gravy or cheesy mash like everyone said, deffo a no no ive tried it twice since and no can do, tbh it doesn't bother me I am happy with what I can eat I can't manage any form of crispbread/cracker either, not bothered trying bread as I don't miss it yet pre op I could demolish a french stick in a sitting
