Not great right now. Got bad trapped gas pain and my wrist has just blown up as my water trip has leaked into my tissue

The nurses are cold here. Not on a bariatric ward. They had no beds. The nurse just tried to get my water cannular in 3 times and failed. It hurt!

So now they are going to take away my morphine and use that drip for my water.

I want to feel upbeat. But my body is in agony x

The drip was positioned incorrectly in my arm after the op, from my elbow to my wrist was like a football. Your body will absorb the fluid slowly. Hope you feel better soon and the wind makes its way out quietly!

My RNY sister!!! I was on a Non bariatric ward too, nurses were specialist in other things and didn't have much idea about my treatment. They got me a specialist canula guy after stabbing me a few times without success (it is because you are so dehydrated) he wrapped my arm in hot wet towels and an incontinence pad to encourage my veins to come up - the only one he could find was on my knuckle - ouch!!
Going home was the start of the most amazing recovery. Eyes on the prize, it gets better.

Thank you sooooo much Dinda. I am glad you understand. I know this journey will end up amazing. Don't regret it for a second. Just got to focus past the current pain and look into the future xxx
