Not at all, I'm paying £4895 for the surgery and mine and hubby's flights are £400. To have it done in the UK would be around £7500 so making quite a saving by going to Belgium and as I said my doc was 100% behind me going.

I'm loving my band too even though I am quite new to it. The forums can tend to go in phases where it is negative about one surgery or the other. I think you have to accept that it is hard work whatever you choose. There are no easy solutions else we would all have found them a long time ago. It certainly isnt the easy option some people think it to be. I would advise you to do your research and then work hard with your choice whatever that may be.
