heres my dodgy wounds what are infected, has others had such infections like this? The first pic is near the breast bone and the small red scar was from the first attempt.
2nd pic is from just under the port wound.
3rd pic is my boy Joshua, lol

Ouch you poor thing! hope they get better soon xxx

i did have a couple like that, i used antisceptic cream, and it worked ok for me. If it had got worse then i would have seen the doc for some meds

am on anti biotics 4 times a day. i might try the anti septic cream, thanks x

sorry to see you are having trouble hope all else is going ok since surgery and i agree piccy 3 is the best

Guess I was lucky, my wounds were small and neat, and healed up in no time.

The "scar" in the third picture is the worst one of all cos it will just keep getting bigger and doesn't fade at all and will bring you at the very least some twinges for the rest of your life LOL
Very cute though

Sending you healing thoughts

xx

Yep, mine were horrible for a full eight and a half weeks and quite often looked weepy, open and sore (my surgeon uses glue to seal you up!!!) and was a regular at the walk in center getting new dressings and advice, in fact I actually did damage to my skin with one dressing that you can still see!!!
Anyway, they all finally closed over after eight and a half weeks, despite the last one smelling a little like rotting fish if you touched it and it wept a bit, though it wasnt infected so I dont know why it had that aroma. My scars four and a half months on look a little like most peoples do after a month or two, they are a deep red colour and look fresh, but I do scar funny and they look a bit worse now because of my tummy skin changing as it empties but I just consider them to be my war wounds and I really dont mind them at all, I never intend to get my tummy out so only hubby, my close friends and family and doctors get to see them.
I found that leaving mine open to the air to dry out when possible helped a lot.
Good luck with them healing up soon xx
Steph xx
