New RNY 5 days post op

I am Phil

Underwent RNY bypass under Mr Shaw Somers 22/8/11. Weighed 17St 13lbs before surgery.

All going well other than strong pain {stabbing knife feeling} in left thigh. Told its not a DVT risk but like a sciatic nerve pain. Is this common to other patients?

Welcome. Sorry no advice about the pain. Your thigh is a strange place for the pain?

Hey hunnie, I hd they same pain in my left leg for about 3weeks then I woke up one day and it was gone, they said it was just off the way ot been lying on the table n after.

Keep an eye on it hunnie n get better soonxx
