Finally considering WLS surgery at 27 and 16.7 stone after having been big since childhood and failed every diet out there!
Hope to find some advice for local places that can help.

I make handmade soap for a living and own 2 mischievous small parrots that are green cheek conures hence the username

My advise would be to do your research, research research! Look around in the various threads on here for good/ not so good tales you need to see both sides to make I think a choice in any life changing surgery

Hello! I reiterate to research until you feel like you could write a book on wls! Read lots of the diaries on here, you'll get a well rounded picture of the experience from pre to post op.
