Hi :D,

I am in the process of having bypass surgery and tbh i'm petrified but sooooooooo excited at the same time (didn't think that was possible lol) i saw my G.P. about 18 mnths ago and i have now had 2 appts with a psychologist and another one booked for friday (19th) so not too sure how far along i am or how much longer i have to wait, so i'm kinda stuck in limbo at the moment but it's all good  as long a it's going in the right direction,
you all seem like a friendly bunch so just thought i'd come along and say hey! it's great to read so many successes after all of the horrors i've read on the net lol xx

What do you want help with? Sorry if it sounds silly but i'm hoping you have researched your surgery well before booking your op. Know what to expect food wise post op and what you need to do before your op to make things as safe as possible for your body going through major surgery....

Hello :) I had my bypass last June (2010) with Mr Amir Khan and have never looked back.

There is a thread on here called 'The Walsall Massive' which is fall of Walsall patients, pre n post op. You can ask specific questions on there and get lots of good hints and tips.

Also there is a support group, just ask and someone will give you the details.

If you are on facebook then add me and i'll add you to the 'secret/closed group' my email is on here just ignore the gaps as the site 'hides' it if you type it without them.

Remember to tell me you want adding lol and don't worry i never talk about wls unless you start the chat on your page xxxx
