Good luck! What surgery are you having?

I am having gastric bypass. I wanted VSG but with me having food addictions I really needed the malabsorption part if it I havent had one second to be nervous. 5 more days!!!!

I am having my surgery at a center of excellence facility in Memphis Tenn. Dr. Virginia Weaver and Dr.Robert Wegner's practice. How bout you?

Hahaha yea well I have noticed that everyone is in other countries!!!! I was like what is a stone?!?! Lol so I google it!!! Ty for ur kind words and encouragement.

I visited a friend in Ohio many years ago and whenever I was asked how long I was staying for I told them a fortnight - but people were far too polite to tell me that the expression 'fortnight' wasn't used there.

It was only later my friend told me she'd wait until my back was turned before explaining to people I meant 2 weeks.

The time seems to have gone so quickly since you first posted about being on the pre-op diet!

Hahaha love ur story I know it does seem to have flown by!!!! I'm ready to have the surgery done already. It's been a 9 month journey so far. It didn't even seem real until about 5 weeks ago and trust me they have been the longest 5 weeks
