i started my liver diet 4 days before pre op assesment wernt taking no chances good luck mate

Not too sure how it all came about to be honest Caren, was told I wouldn't get the surgery, then one day letter came in the post for my surgery date which was 4 days later. Went into all blind, didn't have any idea what I would be going through. But I'm extremely lucky to have had this op

Has anybody had surgery without a pre-op diet or had to be on one for less than 10 days?
I've just got my letter telling me pre-op assessment is on the 14th of September with surgery on the 23rd.
Getting nervous now

Hi brian,i was on pre op diet for less than 10 days.was worried about liver.had surgery with mr el hassani.he said liver was lovely and looks healthy.follow you diet strictly and you will be fine.good luck to you and God bless.
