Sound horrific actually, and must have been so frightening.

But as you say you cant help seeing the funny side, as he did live. I am picturing Violet in Willy Wonka.... IS that what we will feel like after our op too?

I've just seen the story elsewhere which finishes with a quote from the driver 'I'm slowly expelling the excess air in the usual way' - typical lorry driver then :-D (my other half's an HGV driver so have had great fun teasing him about this)
