So sorry for you ?I m think of you , audrasharon . I'm struggling to find the right words to comfort you at the moment . I cried so much , be kind to your self . It an emotional roller coaster . X
its no comfort but they need you to be at your best health wise for a successful operation and even with a slight cough for them its an issue which they would rather avoid. i`m sure they know how disappointed you will be after working so hard in the pre build up. but like someone said its better to be sad than sorry.
I wish you all the best for the 2nd time around x
I feel alot better today but constantly worried im not doing what im supposed to. Not active enough, not drinking enough, eating the wrong thing, eating too much...
I also had my first sense of 'have I done the right thing?' Been in tears because I feel useless, cant do anything atm and am relying heavily on my husband.
There must be some kind of like post op blues just like the baby blues?
Yeah you can get like that after any surgery. As long as your having a little walk each day and make it longer when you feel ready. I think your doing really well. Eat little and often. Low fat, sugar, high protein and you'll do fine! I got my new date today 17th dec. so today for you will be the equivalent of Christmas Day for me so interested to see how you feel. Sounds like Xmas day shouldn't be too bad, Jason will have to do the dinner! x
Thanks butterfly, how you feeling? Not long now.
Audrasharron it tough for you , and I do understand . Part of me won't really believe they will do the surgery until I wake up afterwards. I think I'm protecting my self as it hurt so much last time .
I'm off today for pro op appointment really scared .
There is tons to do before your date im sure it'll fly by! Christmas shopping, Christmas decs, card writing. You'll have trouble squeezing it all in!
Enjoy going out and doing it all now! Mine will be last minute because I cant get out or drive atm.
Please, after your op just rest. I tried too much too soon and have ended up in bed longer because of it. Its the last thing you'll wanna do - sat up in bed christmas day. You wont be able to cook dinner! And make sure you have a comfy chair with footrest, loads of super soft comfy pillows and glam jammies and slippers (dont attempt underwear lol non wired bras and even full briefs push on your swollen tummy)
I do feel like my body is less achy today, not having so much trouble walking. Can breathe easier. Not tried eating or drinking yet though :/
