Postponed surgery anyone?

Hi, was supposed to have my surgery on monday, got a call at 12 to say it was postponed till 8 July. Anyone had a similar experience? Very disappointed and annoyed at the Whittington.

Awww, that's such a shame
My op wasn't cancelled exactly, but I had some appointments running up to my surgery delayed, so that in turn made me have to wait longer to have my op, but to be let down at this late stage must be so disheartening for you.
Try and turn it into a positive by getting as fit as you can until July then your op will go more smoothly *Hugs*

My surgery was cancelled just as I was walking into Theatre. I had it a month later. The surgeon was catching a flight to SA to see his ill mother and didn't have time for my bypass so offered me a sleeve instead. I declined and waited. It will happen and this bit will be like a bad dream.
