Pre Op Assessment

Hey folks!

Well, my time is almost here, I have my pre op assessment tomorrow. Can anyone tell me what will happen please?

It all depends on where you are having your surgery, I had mine at St Richards the day consisted of seeing a dietician, specialist nurse and psychologist. These ensure that you will be able to cope with the surgery and diet after. I went off for lunch whilst a decision was made if I could have the surgery. Came back got the green light saw the surgeon, who explained the procedure. Then went home and waited for a date x

Thank you! That was my Pre Assessment, I have had the green light and will have my op on the 21st but tomorrow is the Pre Op.

Hi I was weighed , measured BP ECG and bloods taken gave some more medical history and swabs took about 40 mins. Good luck
