Prob wrong place to post this..........

Hi Guys
As most of you know me from this section i wanted to post this here. I haven't been around for the last few days and won't be for the next two weeks or so. My mum who lives on the Isle of Lewis has been ill for a while and has now been unable to eat properly for several weeks! They admitted her to hospital and they were going to insert a peg to feed her.However the consultant has said no!! I'm dashing up there late tomorrow to arrange a care package and basically look after her and fight her corner! She was so weak at one point she couldn't lift her head off the pillow and she has dropped two stone down to 7.5 stone Hopefully they will insert a peg as they feel she will only deteriorate if she isn't built up. I really hope they change their mind and fit this, she is blind and 83 and def needs a care package too. I feel so guilty that i'm so far away and not there for her. I'm am so grateful to my favourite Auntie who lives beside her and has been a saint in looking after mum. Sorry that was a bit long winded maybe i just needed to sound off a bit!
Just wanted to wish everyone luck if you are due for surgery and lots of hugs all round to everyone who needs one or wants one. Take Care everyone and behave till i get back xx

Thank you so much for your lovely wishes it means a lot to have your support. I'm pretty worn out at the moment but hey ho its my turn to pay my much loved mum back for all the love and care she has given me over the years!
