question about main page differences when logged on and not logged on

When i'm not logged in and look at the main page at the bottom it tells me if anyone is in the chat room, but when i'm logged on this feature isn't there. Does anyone know why this is?

its hidden from guests. Thats why you cannot see it unless your logged in.

Thanks Pierce... But thats the thing... it's when i'm not logged on is when i can see it. It is a box that comes up between the currently active users and and the forum stats box. And it says if anyone is using chat. When i'm logged on its not there and can only find out if people are in chat by going into the chat room. Is it just me???
