Really disappointed on my loss on liver shrinkage diet :(

So surgeon has just been to weigh me before my op, at the start of lsd I was 105.8kg and after two weeks of just meal replacement shakes and water I'm 102.2kg doctor is surprised at such little weight loss and I now feel deflated have been told is liver not small enough op will be abandoned

Kay I was exactly the same, I had stuck to it religiously and ended up losing 4.5 lbs. I was so worried this would happen to me, the 1st thing I asked when I was brought around in recovery was 'is it done?' but yes it was and I asked the surgeon and was told my liver was really small. It will be fine!

Remember its a method of liver shrinkage, yes often you do lose weight big time too but not always, so long as that liver is releasing its fatty stores thats the main thing, good luck xx

I could have milk and 1 bowl if vegetable soup. I honestly worried myself sick over it when I used to read the weight losses on here. Its not what it's about, I am sure you will be fine xx

I agree with butterfly losing weight on the LSD is a great bonus but the LSD is about just that a smaller liver , like you said you have stuck to it keep sticking to it and fingers x all will be ok and your place on the losers bench will be waiting for you!
