Hi all,
I am interested in hearing about recovery times from band ops. I am due to have mine on 30/08 (2 weeks!!). I have yet to tell my employer. I have seen my gp and am hoping to self certificate for a week & then return. I am field based in north west & my boss is in London so I only see him once every couple of months. If I could return after a week, I can ease myself in with office days from home. The problem I have is, I have not long had a 3 week holiday in Florida. Then, my son was very poorly in hospital so I had to have a week off sick then. Now, my op has been arranged & I am amazed at how quickly it has come through. I'm not giving it up for the world. I don't have a really close relationship with my boss because of the distance etc & just can't bring myself to tell him. Thanks in advance for reading this, any advice? Kell x

Everyone's recovery times differ, I know of people on here who were back to work within a week, however I didn't feel back to normal for 2 weeks (but I was off over the xmas period so I could take time to recover slowly).
