A loser at last!
This sounds par for the course. I first approached my GP in October. He wanted to speak with the surgeon but kept forgetting! A month later he had and agreed to refer me. He said he sent it but the hospital said they hadn't got it. He said he sent it again. Still no luck. Then he faxed it but they said they hadn't received it. The hospital finally got my referral in January after I phoned and I finally got a fax number and A NAME so it didn't get lost again. I was on the phone to the hospital when the fax came through and they were able to give me my first appointment almost straight away. The moral of the story is to keep phoning them until you get answers. Good luck, Mxx
