Referral

Hi
Does anyone know how long it should be between dr doing referral to me hearing anything from the hospital, it has been 4 weeks today since my dr referred me ...?? xx

If it works anything like my it does where I live then it takes at least two weeks for the gp to do the referral, then when it's sent to the hospital it goes to a central booking team, who then send it to the bariatric team, I then had to wait at least another few weeks so in total I think it was about 8 - 9 weeks, I now have my confirmed date for the 7th october for surgery. The time frame varies from area to area but good luck with your wls journey
