Shaker Weight

J Mo, my mind must work like yours too cos just reading the thread has had me pmsl.

Let us know how you get on with them.

I saw them used on Lorraine Kelly show with the Chawner family.

I fancy trying one of those Kettle bells but they look like reaL HARD WORK!!!!

I bought the shaker. Used it religiously and all it did was give me tennis elbow.

The kettle bell weights are brilliant though. Yes they are hard work, but the make for a good workout and I've seen results from them.

I've got the shaker weight and kettlebells and kettlebells win hands down, they've really improved the tone of my arms and they give you a full body workout (your tum really aches the next day). They can be hard but its important to get a good DVD to follow (I love the Ironwork out ones), I got a set that have 4 (2kg, 4kg, 6kg, 8kg) kettlebells and am using the 6kg ones at the moment.

So soon after my op I think I'll start with the shaker weight then progress onto the kettlebells ;)

I've seen a few videos on youtube for the kettlebells & can envision me doing myself some damage, ha, ha!!
