Sickness bug........

Has entered my house grrrrr daughter has just been sent home from school. so who is next most likely me as I have a low immune system, then hubby because he does all the caring because im trying to stay away lol but son very rarely ill so he may be OK. Oh well fingers crossed I may be pardoned this time lol

Oh no poor you, I hope no one else catches it as it is a horrible thing, apparently the best way is to just clean and wash your hands a lot, apparently most adults touch their face up to 5 times a minute and this is what helps spread the bugs..

Ahhhh sickness bugs are my worse fear. Honestly really phobic about getting them. I know it's been doing the rounds since the beginning of November so I'm mindful of hand washing etc. Best of luck, hope it misses you out this time x

aparently an old wives tale but suppose to work put an onion in the room with who ever is infected and its suppose to draw the infection init instead of leaving it in the air. Im trying why not lol

my Gran used to do that with the onion. She swore by it. I also remember she used to boil a whole onion too and make us eat it (and drink the juice) if we were ill. Think we soon got better just to avoid having to eat another one!

I think she used to peel the onion in the room rather than leave it with the outer brown layers on.

I have also heard of the onion drawing in germs. That is why we are advised not to peel onions until we are ready to use them.

well she hasnt been sick once she got home very pale and not eating but drinking regular so fingers crossed the onion may of worked. ps yes nova it was peeled n cut in half. xxx
