Sleeve excess weight

Hi all!

Finally approved for a gastric sleeve today after my long journey. I was aware anyway but the surgeon reiterated to me that you tend to loose 50-70% excess weight with the sleeve.

Just wondering how much of their excess weight people have lost with their sleeve?

Well I'm nearly at my goal weight and already have a healthy BMI so I'd class that as having lost 100% of my excess weight tbh.
So I'd say you can definitely lose much more than the average. I think the doctors have to be careful to manage our expectations though. For various reasons we all have different results and if they said you will lose 100% and you lost 95% you might feel like a failure you know?

I would also say I've lost 100% of my excess weight, I had my surgery in June last year and have reach a BMI of 22 congratulations on getting approved, good luck
