I had my Lapband privately with a BMI of 36
I was very successful in the first year and lost over 6 stone and was at goal weight. Unfortunately I had a slip a couple of years down the line then an incorrect reposition. I've been unlucky and now weigh more than I started 10 years on:-(
I'm converting to a bypass in Jan. I wish I'd had the balls to have one from the get go. Having a lower BMI though I'd probably not have been considered. It's of course personal choice and decided with the advise from your surgeon.
I had a band with THG in April 2012 with bmi 33 and lost nearly five stones.
Got to bmi 23 and just got a timmy tuck with boob job done.
Over the moon!
Oh that's brill you sound happy so you were happy with THG? It's great to hear from you as it's a mine field of information everywhere I looks hanks so much
