I cant believe you worry about going out Nina, you look lovely! Trust me hun, Ive seen some sights and you are NOT one of them, the main thing you need is confidence :D You are truly lovely X

Yep, Ive said it before Neen, you are gorgeous, I know you cant help being low on confidence but please rest easy in the knowledge that if people are looking at you whilst youre out it is because they are thinking how lovely you are.

Thank you all my precious friends, a lovely start to the morning knowing you are all there...

I won't be going far today... full of a nasty chesty infection... it's really got a hold this time.. the diabetes is responsible... so I'm feeling cold, hubby has started a fire and I'm nursing myself to get going... it will happen, hopefully soon.

Loving hugs to all and wishing everyone sunshine in their lives... today is a new day and go for your goals!

Good afternoon folks, I hope everyone is good today.
Im a happy little chick today, I had this urge to do my measurements this morning and Im glad that I did, Ive lost inches from all over, around 14" all over since June, which Im very happy with. I had a big throwing out session of my coats this morning, I tried them all on before throwing them out and even hubby was amused, I put coats on that pre-op would barely fasten on me, they are now HUGE and would fit two people in them lol so that along with the inch loss has really brightened my day.
Ive calmed from my annoyance yesterday, Im still disappointed that people complained but hey ho, each to their own, if people cant take a little saucy banter then thats their own sad fault.
Anyway, happy Sunday folks xx

Glad you are ok Steph and I could jump for joy at your inch loss.... that's such a terrific tribute and what a testimony when you can see such an amazing difference.... I've only lost 2 stones but can already fasten coats and jackets easily that were tight...

Brilliant and keep going.. love and hugs xxx

Well I have such a long way to go yet Steph... it is a great motivator and that's what we all need to hang onto...

It's keeping the motivation and thanks to people like you love, it reminds me of the joy of weight loss and that feeling of your clothes being so huge!

Have a relaxing Sunday love and rest and replenish yourself... going colder so make sure you build in a pampering treat.

Love and hugs to you as always xxx

when i went to my daughters yesterday, i asked her if she had any rings that she didnt wear, cos all mine are now way to big for me, and just fall off, the only ones she had were her old wedding, eternity , and engagement rings, she decided to go from gold to white gold, so has a new set, funnily enough ive always wore white gold and silver too, but i was that desperate for a ring that i didnt care. anyway i tried them on, and they fitted me great, so ive got her engagement ring on permanent loan, its a size J. i was a size M, so ive lost 3 ring sizes, im really chuffed, only thing is, ive now got to get all my rings altered lol. well done stephie on your chucking out session, and massive inch loss, hope your feeling better today bev huni. im paying for going out yesterday, i played with the kids, and held my youngest grandson whos just turned 1, today im in a lot of pain, can only just get to loo and back. so its another duvet day for me im afraid, hopefully will be ok by tomorrow, big hugs to u all, xx

Hi Dawn, hope you have a great day.

I'm the third day into my antibiotics and struggling with a chest infection, usually takes two lots of antibiotics to work with the diabetes.

But keeping positive and I will try and build in a pamper treat later to lift my spirits...

Have a great day everyone and loads of love and hugs. xxx

Aww Dawn, Im sorry youre suffering, have a big...but gentle hug xx
Woohoo on the rings, thats great. My wedding ring doesnt fit, nor my engagement ring, so Im just wearing a random ring at the moment which is too big. We got cheap wedding rings and so there is really no point in altering it, so we are going to get me a nice new one, a slimmer one as I needed a wide mans ring when we got wed. My wedding ring will sit in my jewellery box, it has come a long way with me through thick and thin (thin and fat too lol) far and wide, happiness and utter misery, so it will stay in my jewellery box.
Lovely to be able to use your daughter ring. :)

aw bev, i really hope you feel better soon, i know what you mean about the diabetes and infection, my mum has it, and has to be really careful, in fact shes heading towards anti biotics now, she has a bad cold, and we are just hoping it dosnt go onto her chest, which it has a tendency to, hope you feel better soon babes, big hug xx

stephi, i know what you mean about your wedding ring being precious, it dosnt matter how much it was etc, its still your special ring, so it deserves a special place in you jewellry box. but that dosent mean that you cant get a nice new one, in whatever style you want does it, when are you gonna get one, you must be near your new ring size now, so start saving up, lol. my daughter whos ring i 'borrowed' is now putting a lock on her wardrobe, lol, im only about 10lbs heavier than she is now, so im looking at her clothes as well, lol.
im feeling better in myself now, but still really sore, but am dosed up with liquid gold, so its taken the edge of it, which makes it a lot easier to cope with.
see ya all soon, big hugs xx

Thanks girls, my chest is really aching... typical, if I pick anything up it's flattening me right now.. has been like this since I had the chemo and the diabetes doesn't help at all.

I've been fast asleep all afternoon and feel really tired still.

Will see how things go tomorrow. Hubby is here today so I manage, my friend is here in the morning, will wait and see...

Hope you are having a restful afternoon everyone.

Love and hugs xxx

aw poor bev, cos your not far out from having chemo etc, your immune system really isnt good is it, hopefully the antibiotics will start to kick in soon, and you will feel a bit better, even if it does take a 2nd lot to finish off the job. sleep is probably the best thing for you at the moment, as we tend to heal while we sleep dont we. i hope your friend can stay with you tomorrow hun. take care, and rest, big hugs n snugs xxxx

Thanks Dawn.

Love to you and everyone... as always... sending loving hugs your way xxx

Dawn...Im not sure whether to wait a while longer or whether to just get one that fits snugly so that I can shrink down a little more into it, Im still deciding.

Well, I have had a restful afternoon, I signed off of the computer and watched some tv and had some nice dinner/tea of a tiny bit of mash (only ate a teaspoon full) and a small fillet of chicken that I wrapped in foil and rubbed a little bit of low fat marg with chicken stock onto (mmmm nice) and then oven baked, it was tasty but I could barely manage any of it, but I enjoyed it none-the-less. Then I watched the last of Big and then had a lovely hot bubble bath surrounded by candles (God bless dark evenings lol) and washed my hair and then lay back amongst the bubbles with a lovely face mask on, so my skin is lovely and soft, my hair smells gorgeous (that mens thickening shampoo smells gorgeous Bev!) and I am lovely and relaxed. I am sat against a hot water bottle as that pain in my upper back is playing me up today but I am mainly just chilled out and about to sup my hot cup of tea that hubby has just made. I do love relaxing evenings.
Steph xx

Glad you are relaxing Steph...

The shampoo helped me through my chemotherapy and hair thinning stage... so I hope it will strengthen your hair too... stick with it and use the bottle...

Relax and enjoy your night love, I have my candles burning brightly xxx
