Hi

I have been trying to find out what sort of amount of saturated sugars should we be ok with...for example heinz soup contains about 8.9g but i'm really scared of dumping syndrome

Has anyone got any advice of what i should be aiming for as i'm so parinoid about doing something wrong

Thanks xx

hi,what op are u having?xx

i was told not too worry about too much about calories just now as your only have about 100mls at a time so you wont be comsuming too many calories ovisiolsy if you can stick to lower fat the better it is for you

I had a problem with the weigh watchers tomato soup I did dump on this but it wasn't too bad it passed quite quickly I think it's quite personal to you what you can eat I had a sweet tooth before but 4 weeks post op I am not even able to stand the taste of sweet things even the sugar free liquid iron was too sweet .

All i have had so far is oxtail soup and muller light yogurt!!

Not sure i can get my head round blending fish! but you never know, just need to start experiment but its all really scary right now!!

It should be approx 5g per 100g sugar and 5g per 100g fat so keeping under these figures should mean you'll be okay.

lol couldnt figure out when i looked at your stats that your bmi why it was so low then i saw you were 14 feet tall lol

Salmon blended or put on the food processor with a little light mayo, the innard of a tomato and a little lemon is delicious. I mention this because someone posted about blenderizing fish :) my dad used to stuff tomatoes with this mix and I always like the stuffing better without the rest of the tomato flesh :p
