Surgeon didn't tell me he bypassed my brain!

I've had a recurrent nightmare for years now where I suddenly realise there is a newborn baby upstairs and I haven't done anything for it for days. Then I go running to see if it is ok and the dream ends there. It's horrible - makes me feel sick
