Hi Jo how are you.iv tried lots of different protein shakes ,hate them all except slimfast but I need to give my body a bit of a shake up so going on the slimfast diet I did pre op for a few days and were see what happens.

Well the batteries were going in my scales so replaced them ,still doesn't show iv lost 10lbs though, stupid thing.

I urge you just to try this one from tesco and tell me you don't like it? I think it's divine! Nearly as good as a bar of chocolate...nearly x

Yes but only at my tesco extra. For my store they have the shelves with the big tubs of powder on then tucked away at the end of the isle around the corner is the protein bars n cans to go. Might be worth asking if you're going away your way, give them a call first maybe? X

Jo - you are completely correct - the Weider Low Carb Body Shaper protein drink is divine!!!! To be honest - I order it from Buy Vitamins and Sports Supplements at The Health Bay. They deliver straight to your house - and they are usually selling them for a discounted price of 1.64 GBP. I've tried a few flavours - most of them are way too sweet... but the chocolate is fantastic..
Give the website a try - one positive thing is that you don't have to carry them home

Yes I order from there too but figured to try them first people would initially only buy one can. I love em.,the cans aren't big enough lol

I was sick for the first time today. The waves came over me and I couldn't stop it, not sure of it was the band stopping anything coming back up but it was just liquid. I'm going to have my fill taken out tomorrow. For once I'm looking forward to two days of liquid/mush. I'd rather drink than eat at the minute. How are you getting on this week mimi?

Doing ok lost 2lb so that's lb I put on plus another one so down to 14.2 just want to drop into the 13s .iv ordered from that website cause I couldn't get through to tesco extra.thank you.

Mimi that's great! Well done!! I need to get back into it. A good balanced diet. Had a nice chicken salad for tea. Still not managing smaller plates but at least it was all veg! Need to knock the sweet stuff on the head though :-/

Mini don't be frustrated, could be so many things, water retention, hormones, anything. You've done so well. I was telling my nurse about how well you had done in comparison to me today! You really are doing great its a life long solution not a quick fix. Little and often. I've run out of cheesy mottos so that will have to do you!! I nearly passed out getting my fill all removed today :-( everything went fuzzy and I nearly fell off the table the nurse had to get sugary drinks in me. Said my blood sugar had dropped too low. Was horrible. I've never fainted in my life that's the closest I've been. She said my hormones will affect all of that. But I'd had to fast and my appointment was eleven so I'd only had a slimfast since the night before. Eek. Was not good. But that's my cover on hold now until after the baby. Ill be nervous of my first fill after today. That's never happened before x

Thanks for your words and support.don't stop posting will u cause were all want to no how your getting on so keep me updated.iv only fainted once in my life and lucky I was already in hospital just having a blood test.they took me to a ward to have a lie down it was so embarrassing lol.its a really strange feeling thou.your so not in control.

Same happened to me! Lol I've now learnt n carry carton of oj in my bag to get sugar in my system quick. We have baby to thank for it
