Happy Bypasser
I weighed 20st 6lb, struggled to do anything physical, wore same "uniform" of black trousers, big baggy shirts and jumpers, stuffed my face with rubbish foods and generally hated myself.

Today - 1 year after my gastric bypass - weigh 9st. 11lb, take an average size 12/14, look pretty damn good, am addicted to life (and shopping). I have my first "slim" holiday in 2 weeks - bikini ready.

For me it has been a very easy journey so far, so my fear is that it will all go wrong. I have never dumped, can eat pretty much anything, never had any issues - so I realise I've been incredibly lucky compared to some others, but I also realise this is where the hard work begins.

I'd like to thank everybody on here for their support and wealth of knowledge - some of you truly are inspirational. Good luck to all of us on whatever life brings our way - here's to a bright future:thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:

Well done on everything you've achieved x

I hope in 10 months time I can say similar!!! well done on your losses & journey so far & enjoy being a beach babe! :)

Well done, glad all has gone well for you xx

That's fantastic I'm booked for my gastric bypass on 11th Sept and reading post like this really helps me to see that I am doing the right thing well done

Got my letter today start my liver shrinking diet 28/08/14 going to do eight low fat yogurts a day. It's all starting to seem real now my consent form was in the pack they sent me also got to have more bloods taken. It's really strange this mixture of excitement and fear!

Amazing Carrie. Hope you have a different bikini for everyday. You deserve it :-D
