Thanks girls.

I have a phone consultation booked for 2pm with my GP to ask why she hasn't sent off my funding application as yet. I'm fully expecting to hear that she doesn't agree with it and isn't going to send it. But that's just the pessimistic me.

This is an interesting question. Like some of you have said, I won't entirely believe it until I wake up from surgery. And the wait is very very upsetting. And the not knowing when it is finally going to happen. Or if for that matter. I feel like my life is on hold for now. I have never lost a significant amount of weight (more than 3st) ever, so it will be a novel and exciting experience when it happens.

I won't believe it's happened until I wake up in the recovery ward!

With my luck by the time surgery comes round for me, the government will have stoped all bariatric surgery and send us all to fat camp instead...
