In the Middle Ages, they had guillotines, stretch racks, whips and chains. Nowadays, we have a much more effective torture device called the bathroom scales. ~Stephen Phillips

Snow that is FANTASTIC and it can apply to most of us here - really great thank you xAs I'm sitting here I thought I'd put my thoughts for the day in rhyme...
My husband brings me coffee
My son he brings me tea
My doggies bring me balls to throw
But that’s not enough for me.
I need a slice of cake with cream
I need the chocolate thick
I’ll scrape the plate of crumbly bits
What’s left, I’ll even lick.
I dress myself in tent like garb
The bits I hate, I hide
And beg the scale to give me hope
But the thing, again it lied.
I compensate with make-up
I compensate with hair
I hide the fact I’m sad inside
I wish I were not there.
But one day I will be normal
And inside I will shine
My goal, my dream come true
And the world will soon be mine.
I’m yet to meet my surgeon
My bypass or a band
Does he know the power that,
He holds within his hand?
