I had my sleeve op on 22 June 2013 and have just been told by my doctor to stop the insulin injections and halve my BP meds because my BMs are under 4 and my BP 100/60.

I'm thrilled!!!

On the negative side my weight loss has been minimal this last week and yet I was led to believe that the weight would 'fall off' post op so that's rather a downer.

we are woman our bodies are sooooo complex, we have to work hard for weightloss still. we cant beat ourselves up about it, you haven't put on so that is the main thing, if you know that u are doing everything right then it could be numerous things. I promised myself that I wouldn't get hung up on weighing myself all the time, I am 8 days post op and I am going to wait until my 6 week check to see what I weigh, then once a month after that, as our weight should be taken over the course of the month as we go up and down so much. As long as u know u are doing everything right then try not to beat urself up about it, easier said than done. Your doing really well x

Wow Danielle you're clearly a very patient lady if you've managed not to weigh yourself since your op!!!! I weigh myself every other day so maybe I'd be better off not to.
I'm going to have to up my exercise, like I'll have to start
exercising!!
Also my bowels are rather sluggish and yet I'm having pureed prunes for my breakfast every day!!!

I am not really a patient person I just didn't want to be disappointed so early on after my op, I thought it might make me deflated and spoil things. Aww those dreaded blumming bowels its all or nothing, might be worth looking at ur fluid intake try upping that, although am sure u probably do nothing but drink water Hummfff ! I am sick of drinking haha x

LessofLisa, exercise really helps get the bowels moving. Even a small walk will help things along I find.
