Due to unforseen circumstances we have decided to postpone tonights meet. We would like to reschedule to fit in with as many as possible so in there any suggested dates. I would suggest either 18th or 25th June, these are both Fridays.
In the mean time I will try and find somewhere that is child friendly, has parking and close to a station
Any one know of any where let me know

Hello ,

I been searching the internet for child friendly pubs etc, and whilst there are some in London that do accomodate people with children, this only seems to be in the day time up to a certain time but not in the evening. The only kind of place I can find that will allow children in the evening is places like harvesters etc. I am not sure if everyone wanted to go for something to eat or purely for drinks , but thought I would let you know what I found - If I find anything I will post back.

All the best - MeJulie x x

Hi

I dont know why I didnt think of somewhere like that , considering that there is one right opposite to where I live .LOL, please be aware that some premier inn places ask that children be vacated from the premises by 9pm (I think that is more for the bar area though) so it might well be best to call in advance and ask if that is there policy there in which ever location you decide to choose.

Hi Bryan. I'm glad I didn't miss the meeting last night after all. I ended up having to stay with my dad, who had got himself in a bit of a state.

I'll let you know if I can make either of those dates once I've spoken to my social secretary (aka - my husband!).

xx

If you make it for the 25th there's a good chance I might be able to attend :D

I know of a great place in Camden - Lock 17 - but I've only ever been during the day so not sure how busy it gets during the evening, especially on a Friday. It also has a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the canal which would be lovely on a summer evening.

I can't imagine you'd find many/any London pubs that would allow children on a Friday evening either, so maybe a weekend afternoon would be better if people are bringing children?

Anywhere that's within an easy bus or tube ride away from KX station will be fine by me :)

I'm definately up for a meet up, but I would have to bring my daughter with me in the evening. I love Camden, but at night it can be a bit iffy. Dealers and groups of unpleasant youths hang about,

Hi all

If your looking for an afternoon meet this pub allows children in until 6pm The Sterling , Address: 30 St Mary Axe, London, London, EC3A 8BF. This is just an idea , I never been there before but just found it by chance and it is near these train stations

Oh glad I didn't miss you guys. I'm up for meeting anywhere and Fridays are not too bad usually for me...apart from being knackered after week!

Probably best to avoid the area then. Wouldn't fancy making my way back to the tube amongst gangs of dodgy youths!!

I'll be 9 days post op :)fingerscrossed:) so I don't think I'll be able to make it. But I'd love to come to the one after.
