UPDATE ON REBIRTH

Just had a call from Pearlina her op has been cancelled due to a concern with a previous heart problem. Obviously she is upset as she was told she didn't need any further testing but they now need to do a 24 hr ecg and then hopefully she will get her op as soon as this happens. Pearlina is disappointed but understands and is grateful that they have her health uppermost in their minds. I'm sure along with me you all send her big hugs full of chin up wishes and a quick new surgery date. Big Hugs Pearlina xx

Awww... I do feel for Pearline, but as soon as she is given the go ahead, they will I am sure, it's good they are taking such good care of our special friend... I have had a lovely phone message from her earlier and she sounded in good spirits...

having had heart trouble, even before my surgery, they need to make sure that your one and only ticker ain't gonna give up the ghost whilst under, disappointing, but ultimately they're being cautios which is a good sign, here's hoping to a speedy new op date

It is a disappointment no doubt, but the consultants and doctors are taking all measures necessary to ensure the op goes smoothly and puts you at the least amount of risk. Fingers crossed it won't be too long before these tests have been done and they give you a new date for your op. *hugs*

It's a precaution and I'm so glad that someone is taking real good care of you today, since you are so Special.

You know it is for the best in the long run and you just have to do what you are told, but still heartbreaking after mentally preparing yourself for your operation.
