Vomitting

Even at 10 months post op, I still vomit occassionally, and today was one of those days.

I don't know what prompted it, I cooked a lovely ratatouille and sat down with the family to eat it, I certainly didn't over-eat. But as soon as it was finished I knew it was coming back up.

I hate vomitting :-( Haven't been sick for ages so I thought I wasn't having that problem any more!

Aw you poor thing, I hate vomiting too and was really worried about it post op. I have decided I am still going to risk it though lol. Hope you feel better X

I agree poor you! The same thing has happened to me today. Trev put the bbq on i had a couple of Asda's chicken kebabs which aren't massive by anyones standards, felt happy but Trev offered me a sausage and i stupidly took it. Well it's bothered me for an hour until it finally came back. I feel so better for it now and it's taught me to pace myself and if i'm not growling for something don't flipping flapping have it grrrr!

Rose as you seem to have vomited a lot maybe you can help me with a query? Before when i had a bit of egg that didn't agree (eggs dont like me yet) with me, i vomited up what was almost like a bile.. Obviously throwing up properly today i actually threw up the offending food (which was a first), is that how it works? Sometimes a bile like substance or just the food? Before my food came back i vomitted up the bile 3 or 4 different times.....

Don't ask me for anything technical, I don't know why, but yes sometimes I bring up the actual food and sometimes bile/frothy stuff. It's not pleasant at all is it?

Oh i can live with the bile, so long as its not often. It's when you blow your nose and have sausage bits come out... Now that really is sick xx

Aw poor you. I hate being sick too. I'm 4 months post op and haven't been sick for nearly 2 weeks now. Hoping it will stay away forever
