i'm back at work this week so might be easier to stick to things as im busy
 
well been able to stick to most of my goals as far as food is concerned
but not been able to do the one for coming on here twice a day
still managed to go to gym and drink my water

next week will be a challenge as im off to coventry with school choir for 3 days
so food wise it will be hard will need to stock up on crackers lol
 
today i'm off to coventry with work for the next 2 days im not quite sure how the meal situation will be as its with a school choir and most of our food is being provided for us but have got a few standbys organised for myself as i cant eat bread or pizza so have got myself some cupasoup crackers and some cereal bars as well as fruit so i wont starve lol
wont get on here till probably friday but will be busy most of the time anyway
 
never thought id say this but glad to be back at work to get some normality back in my life

had a great time in coventry and food was a bit of an issue at times but coped
so back to a packed week but thats how i like it

so goals for this week

well thats me off for the next 2 weeks so going to have to try and keep busy

so its goal time again to try and keep foccused

well thought i'd keep to my usuall reutine of going to the gym
have had a couple of coffee's so far
going to tidy up kitchen and make my breakfast of readybrek
think if i give myself small tasks that will keep me busy
im working tonight in my other job so thats covered just need to get though the day
 
well thats me back to work for both jobs :(

so back to the gym this morning
have my food for lunch and snacks organised
lets see what today brings
gonna try and take my time eating (slow slow slow )
see if it makes a difference

need help guys
finding im starting to snack when i know i shouldnt :(
1 have started sucking on sweets (fruit polo's and other sucking sweets)
2 eating crisps with more frequency not just as the odd treat
3 the portions have started getting bigger at times (weighing everything to keep track)
4 not drinking enough (2 coffee and a 500ml water so far)
5 having bread more often (no bread so far )
in general just starting to get very lax about things (Started a diary to keep track )

i still have lots to lose so begining to panic that i have lost my way (never thought it would happen to me :( )

anyway still going to the gym 3 days a week going to start keeping a diary again to see if that help keep me focused
told my fears to my practice nurse so going back to see her in 2 weeks and she has giving me a few things to try

awaiting my kick up the bum :sigh:

Hi drylaw, unfortunately I do the same although I can't finish a pack of crisps! (I had the sleeve) Do you not get dumping when you eat these foods?
Do you keep a food diary? I find it helps me to get back on track when I see what I have eaten written down x
 
hi sashie no i dont get dumping very often would only say that has happened when i have had chocolate which is probably the only thing i dont have these days due to that effect
i also dont always get a feeling of fullness when eating that is also very rare
have started doing a diary again today so hopefully that will work
i try not to eat and drink but i definatly dont drink enough so will try and rectify that

this may seem like a strange question ... i notice that ur also from edinburgh but went private but u have the same surgeon as me i went through nhs at the eri ....but do you belong to a facebook support group in edinburgh just that ur name is similar to some one there ?????
 
I can't eat chocolate at all either. If I eat 2 squares I become very nauseous and usually I'm sick...Easter was wonderful! lol

Yes that's me, I'm no good at hiding my identity! lol xx

when i saw ur earlier reply and looked at the name and details i thought what's the chances of that

its not very often there is someone from scotland let alone edinburgh using this site

started using a diary to log food today so hopefully that will show me what im doing
 
I know, I have only found one other on here from Edinburgh.

i am the same find it really hard to keep up the fluids but think the trick it jus keep trying :)

have found this last week a bit easier have been keeping track most days not had too many treats as i call them so found this has help to get me back on track going to do the same again this week
