weight clubs

Hi Sal, I am not a bander but know a few on here who have started going to WW or SW ... whatever gets you to goal is good ... :):) xx

Yes I'm at ww for that final stone!!!

I did tell them but guess you don't have to and yes I am eating my full points but as I've come in at the back end of my journey I only get 26 per day. To be honest ww helps as I get weighed formally so prevents cheating so much, but I do heed the learns from my nutrionist by eating more protein and less carbs! Still to this date don't have rice pasta etc x

I have joined Slimming World as my weight became static and I was eating all the wrong things
Yes I told them I had a band so I cannot take part in Slimmer of the Week but I felt the need to be honest as I know the consultant at the class quite well.
I have been attending a month and along with another fill I have lost six pounds so its working for me

Check with your provider because some do say you can eat pasta and rice after 3 months, if you /your band can cope with it. I do eat maybe a couple of ounces of either every so often and I am fine with them. It's strange for me because I have only just reintroduced potato into my diet again, because I struggled with that. But jacket potato with tuna is Soooo filling now, it's great! We are all different and it's about finding out what works best for us :) I don't avoid carbs altogether, but I find they leave you feeling hungrier sooner :sigh:

Can you ask for a diet sheet so you can start the good habits now, that will work for you longer term? Otherwise if it's going to help you focus, personally I would join sw or ww - where is the harm, you may just need to adjust your approach to work with the band best.
