Well this might make you laugh

Since waking up from surgery ive had dead/numb outter thighs.

Apparently ive got something called something like marlia paralastescia.

So i had an mri scan last week to check it wasnt a trapped nerve. Went back to see oseteopath today. He injected me in my groin (thank god i didnt wear holey pants!!) and he luckily found my bones so he knew where to inject.

So que...

Dead leg lol

Having to lift my leg up to get in the car

Looking like a drunk everytime i try and walk around

Leg giving way whenever it feels like it

Just now taking the bin out (in pajamas and looking a mess) i fell down onto my knees tripping the bin over with traffic flying past. Oh how they must have chuckeld "look at her, absolutely trollied" haha

Ow well!

Oh my god what a nightmare!!!

I assume this is nothing too serious and something that will pass???

Sounds like a great reason to take to the sofa with a blanket and a crap magazine!!

Well the new extreme dead leg is the nerve relaxer and local anascetic ( sorry cant spell ) which is doing it lol. I hope it wears off soon x

I had this every day for about 3 weeks after my op. Then one day I realised it just wasn't there anymore! Xx

I had a numb tip of my tongue after my surgery for about 3 months!

At least that didn't make me fall over my bin!!

However it was quite funny once I got onto more solid foods, I probably looked drunk!

oh bless ya... i suffer from a trapped nerve in my groin which travels down my leg, was told it was linked to my weight but 3 stone lighter and i still have it..just doesnt hurt as much, and that makes me go numb and i have fallen over a few times... hence the fact sometimes i have to use crutches.. ive had to learn to laugh about it too... the injection should wear off soon and you will be able to walk again properley... in the mean time... stay clear of bins xxx
