what a day! OT

Oh what a day ive had firstly cat really poorly was sick in night then threw up elestic band?
This morning drank water and threw that up so off to vets i took him. They kept him in and did 2 xrays and found nothing stuck which is good and she thinks he has irritated stomouch with band, Hubby thinks he was trying to fit his own gastric band LOL

Then coming home a bloody idiot scraped side of my car so what a great day.

Aww Julie, I hope puddy is well soon. I have 2 cats and one is really greedy...I keep threatening him with a gastric band, don't think my boss fits them on animals yet (I'm a receptionist in a vet practice) but it's probably just a matter of time before someone thinks of it

Sorry to hear about your cat , its awful when they are sick . I know I haven`t got any animals at the moment but over the years we did some running to the vets with them . Is that a photo of your cat if it is hes lovely . Good luck and take care .

thanks guys for comments and concerns unfortunatly pussy still poorly vets have kept him in and gonna put him on drip and run some more tests:cry:

Gosh cats and vomit! My 3 year old female threw up recently (it happens) and my 2 year old male went over to it, inspected it and promptly hurled as well - both fine minutes later whilst I was left clearing up two loads of cat vomit - honestly! I do sympathise - its horrid when a busson pusson is ill.

UPDATE ON KIPPER THE CAT

Latest is he is still on drip and done another xray not found anything but given him anti sickness drugs and he seem quite bright.

My little darling eats like a horse and would consume absolutely anything but even most cat foods upset her. She throws up all over the place and gets an inflamed stomach which needs anti-inflamatries. One rogue pouch of cat food can end up costing a mint! Delicate princess!! I hope Kipper gets well soon. xx

the cats in the other pic you posted are sooo beautiful, i hope kitty gets better soon, i keep saying to my partner that we should get pet insurance, and i was right my cat has just cost me an arm and a leg.

update on kipper vet phoned still not eating waiting for blood tests results and then decide whats next.
