What's on the menu today?

8 weeks 6 days post op..(following a stretch)

B: 4 tbls of branflakes

L: pork(size of a 50p), 1 cauliflower floret, 1 broccoli floret, 3 tbls of mash, gravy.....half eaten

D: started to eat the remainder of my lunch but a bit of pork got stuck.

1.5 litres of fluid

It's not as good as i'd have hoped today, but it's progress. That bl**dy pork !!!!!
 
hi bran blueberries milk
1 egg salad
1 yogurt
some blueberries
1 1/2 litres nas squash
1 egg beans and 1 slice toast
1 milky coffee
all food is on a tea plate
 
Yesterday I had....
B - toasted brown danish slice with marmite, no crust

L - 1/4 of a pork and Apple burger and one very small new potato. Got stuck!

T - 1 Bacon rather and a tblsp of pasta n sauce

Snacks - a few cashews, a cheese slice and a small glass of milk (which did not agree with me!!)

7 weeks post op...
B- 2% total & tinned peaches (in juice)
L - 6 melba toast and philly
T - corned beef and mash.
Snacks - 2 1/2 decaff latte, 1 protein drink.

Can move onto the next stage on Sunday..... Yahoo no more soft foods!!

9 weeks, 2 days post op:

B = 1 egg omelette
L = 4 ritz style crackers and cheese spread (over did it and was sick)
D = 3 meatballs in bolognese sauce and a tbls of mash

2 cups of tea
2 glasses of juice
1 glass of milk
 
Just read what you've eaten today and seen that you can eat a baguette, I am soooooo desperate to eat bread, but just cannot manage it, I am 9 weeks post op, how long before you could eat bread?? x
 
10 weeks post op (I think?!)
B= strawberries and a muller lite yoghurt
L=cappacino and half a banana in pret a manger
D=small portion of mince cooked with mixed veg and gravy and a couple of spoonfuls of mash
snacks= grapes, strawberries and 4 maltesers!
 
9 weeks & 3 days post op :

B = 4-5 tbls branflakes
L = 3 potatoes, small piece of cauliflower, mouthful of carrot
D = 1 banana and 1 crackerbread
Snacks = 2 ritz size crackers and cottage cheese
 
I am glad to see you using tbls now Sarah rather than tsp. Hope things are still improving for you xx
 
Well, I finally feel that I can join in on this one.

Day one of Milk Diet

B - coffee

L - Strawberry milk shake made with a handfull of strawberries, SF Jelly and a Muller Lite yog on top. Feel like I am at a kids party!! :8855:

T - will be a salad with nothing added except cucmber, toms and some beetroot.

Been having lots of NAS fruit juice at work to fill me up and feel fine, just a bit of a headache this morning, which could be a coincidence. One day down twenty to go. :D
 
B : Scrambled egg on toast (2 eggs one slice of wholemeal toasted bread) ~ good for protein – 265 cals.
L : Jacobs Crackers with cottage cheese (low fat) x 4 good for protein and only 300 cals + naughty bag of Quavers 88 cals.
T : Lightly battered fish NO CHIPS* 395 cals ~ protien again.
Su : Maybe a couple more crackers and cottage cheese say 250 cals
Protein drink (with milk skimmed (red top 0.1% fat) . . .

Cals in average day under 1300 BUT like a drink at the weekend ! ! !

REMEMBER IT'S ALL ABOUT KEEPING YOUR SANITY xx

They are hun...it really does feel so much better eating the tbls as apposed to tsps.
I felt like it was a waste of time getting the food prepared before, only to end up in the bin after 1 tsp. happy days now though :):)
 
9 weeks & 4 days post op:

B = half of a 1 egg omelette

D = small jacket potato (3/4 eaten) and 1 tbls of beans

Mid morning - pear
L - Strawberry SF Jelly and toffee Muller Lite yog
T - Veg stir fry with a little curry powder in to spice it up a bit.

Still to have another piece of fruit, rest of sugar free jelly, one more low fat yog and two and a half pints of milk. Must admit that I feel very full, but troubled with bad headaches, but it's worth it I am sure.
 
9 weeks & 5 days post op:

B = 5 tbls branflakes
Snack = 2 tinned peach slices
L = Small amount of LF chicken curry (couldn't digest the chicken.....sick!!)
D = 2 aunt bessie mash discs, fish(not eaten) and parsley sauce.
