LOL! This was posted quite some time back-but I've been away.

I have to say-I am an American...BUT-I now live in England. Near Blackburn Lancashire-I moved here nearly 3 years ago now.

I LOVE it here. I was born a California girl though. And let me tell you-when I answer the door...almost always the person will say "YOU are not from here, where are you from??" LOL!

When I tell them I am from California-they then ask "WHY did you move here?!" That is when I tell them it was for love.

But seriously-I adore the area and I find the folks here ever so lovely. And VERY kind to put up with my crazy accent.

Hey I'm a cali girl to! Moved for the same reasons as you. I have been here 10 years next week!
