WIND WIND AND MORE WIND

HI GUYS

I'm now nearly for weeks post op, and still getting terrible wind, could not even get my pre op clothes on last night, been like a baby roolin around on the bed (he he he) all joking apart bloodly painful.... have been taking deflatine... not helping a site... any ideas out there... oh and another question how do you fit all the tablets and vits in with the six small meals and the drinkin...one woman lost in the world of wind and pills.....:cry:pain pain go away come back another day ....:break_diet:
 
Hi SF - just wanted to sympathise with you. Doesn't sound like much fun.

I must admit I had more trouble with wind before surgery, so I can't really offer any suggestions, but I have read others saying it helps to walk, walk and walk some more.

Hope it gets better soon.
 
GRIPE WATER!!! Was my salvation - really worked for me!! As for the vits, I started out on Berocca which is dissolveable and makes a yummy orange drink which was just part of my fluids for the day. Good luck x
 
i agree gripe water works wonders !! always keep some in very handy it is.

i suffered for about 4weeks and then it went THANKFULLY!!
it is so underestimated but hey i just couldnt find anything to shift it apart from it releasing naturally. every1 is different so goodluck hun and try all.

Gripe water was my saviour too! that and lots of farting a burping (my kids were so impressed)!!! ha ha. hope the pain eases x
 
thx guys, have now been back to the consultant, got to have a scan to rule out gall stones oh what fun xxx
 
Good luck hope you get this sorted soon, I suffer with it enough before the op, gods knows what I will be like after lol...Linda x
