Your PCT and its position on tummy tucks

Hi there
Does anyone know what the criteria is for KENT UK to qualify for a tummy tuck. I had Gastric Band two and a half years ago and have maintained weight. Suffer from infections under my folds of stomach . My GP said when I asked a year ago, NO CHANCE, only if I have a hernia, not sure if she was just trying to fob me off. Help!!!!!

Try Googling to see if you can find anything out. A lot of PCT's state weight has to be under a certain BMI or maintained for a period of time. Maybe find the number for your local PALS (Patient Advice and Liason Service) to see if they can tell you. If they can't they may be able to point you in the right direction or call the PCT direct?
