Haha! No I totally avoided all things stripes! But my husband and daughter love this dress We had a lovely couple of days - spent them at alton towers and then went out for dinner at this lovely chinese restaurant - which did gluten free food and was amazing!

No, you're absolutely right Lilac, am feeling much more positive. Ironically following your beaten track to some extent and following a health and fitness plan that suits me. While there are physical differences the difference in the way I feel about me right now is monumental. Not perfect, but certainly more self confident.

Always knew you'd have it in you when the time was ready for you ... when we take the leap of faith to find a fitness activity and a routine which suits, the confidence and empowerment which follows is key with taking control of our physical being and helps focus the mental too I find. Win win situation really - we are all fighters, and you have followed my mantra: Don't be a worrier, be a warrior! A warrior queen Yve - you will smash it! PS: A fitness buddy of mine is for the first time doing a 10k OCR. She has bought specialist shoes from INOV-8. On the box was written this: Obsessed is what the lazy call the dedicated. Harsh but how true ... applies to life in general really x
