I have a school reunion tomorrow up the park :)
we all turn 40 this year so we're meeting up with our families and a picnic :) as the weather is due to be lovely I'm really looking forward to it.

Have a lovely weekend all xxxx

Evening all. Rache have a great time - gosh 40 - seems so long ago. Well folks I am in shock - Mr TB proposed - even rang my mom and dad in Jamaica and asked for my hand in marriage. I am in deep shock.

I managed to get rid of my bike through freecycle today. The council are coming to collect the rest of the big items on Monday...is this all some kind of sign. I feel so confused. I vowed I would never get married again.

Anyway - the new bike is being delivered tomorrow:D. If I really am going to get married better get going on it quick;)

Awww...thank you all for all your good wishes. We are going to do the deed next year. It will be a small do - just family as neither of us want any fuss. Mr TB sat me down today and explained why he has decided he wants to get married - both of us vowed to never do it again after our respective first marriages.

He realises that his MS is progressing. We both knew it but didn't want to admit it. He said he wanted to get married while he could still just about stand and while he was mentally capable of doing so. I love that man to bits.

I also realise that it is time for me to do some things. He is going to need a lot of care and I cannot do the job I do and look after him. So the job hunt is on. I will take a big cut in pay and we will start living on a much reduced income. More to life than money.

Well I have had a busy day. I ate one meal today - first time since I had my band that has happened. I went shopping up at the Bull Ring in Birmingham and restocked my freezer for less than £100 with meat and fish. I took delivery of my new bike:D and actually rode it up and down a few times:D. It is lovely - well worth the money. Tonight I managed to get rid of the rest of the items I advertised on freecycle. The last couple who came were lovely. I was glad to see my little exercise trampoline go to a new home.

Before that I went to Homebase and bought an additional padlock for the garage and a broom and dustpan. I gave the garage door and the front bits I can get to a good sweep and the damn broom fell apart. My sister works for Homebase so I shall be sending her a text in the morning to say how crap the broom is.

Ming Ellen must be fretting like hell as she dumped two huge pieces of work on me to do over the weekend. She has gone on holiday to France for the week. She was asked to do this work and she therefore decided to do what she does best - delegate. Well she can sweat a bit more - or - and here is a novelty - do it herself;). If I feel like it, I may do it tomorrow. Then again, my garage needs a bit of sorting as the council are coming to take the big items on Monday. So I may just spend my Sunday sorting that and making a few trips to the recycling. Good exercise and good for my moral:D - I am getting rebellious in my old age:p.

Morning all. I have relented and am going to do the stuff for work. Here is a pic of my new bike - I took it with the camera on my phone so it is a bit blurry.

Happy Sunday all

Looks lovely TB :)
xx

I'm shattered today, I feel very spaced out.
Doc gave me some tablets for my carpal tunnel on Friday and I've had two since, they aren't agreeing with me so I'm going to have to stop them, I could sleep for a week!!
Maybe I'll just have to put up with the problem until I can no longer and then have them operated on, but for now I can't be taking these pills. As a single mum I'm needed both in body and in mind. I'm no good to my girls if I'm out of it, and tbh if I get on my bike feeling like this I don't know what damage I'll do!!

Had such a lovely time catching up with old friends yesterday. It's our 25th year since we left school next year so we are planning a much bigger event where hopefully more people can attend, medeival banquet at Coombe seems to be favourite atm.
I'm going to finish off cooking lunch and have an afternoon nap I think, off out to see my friend tonight who's recently had twins.....can't wait :)
