Oh so gutted......I checked out slimming world online ---body optimise...£20 a month.....I can't afford that right now...so I will just have to use my old books...I am sure most of the stuff is still in date....

Kelly the last time I did SW they just brought out mix2max....but if you could let me know this thing you said they do that was simple to follow I will quite happily do it.....my OH is looking online for something to help me with it too........I am going to sort it out. maybe I can get it as my christmas pressie...

arrrrghhh just lost my reply:mad:

I will sort out my slimming world pack tomorrow and give you a run down. I have a shocking memory sorry. Have you started a diary yet? i want to, but don't wanna bore everyone as have a few months at least till my op x

Hey Jenn , I do love spices so that sounds lovely yeah :D

I am playing Wow again just in case you were wondering! Got loads of halloween quests to do which is fun and easy gold etc.

Did OK today with food and exercise so onward and upward!
When I have something stuck I usually just burp...it's sort of involuntary anyway...eventually you either throw it up or it goes down.
I do have fizzy drinks anyway just slowly sipped and it can help dislodge stuff sometimes.
You are not meant to have too much fizz though , possibly because of the gas gathering ? I have been fine with it but I don't have it very much really...and as I said, I sip tiny sips slowly :)

Yeah I may keep a diary....but not sure if I am going to but I will just mark it as a uber pre op that way people will know.....cuz it's best to keep some record even if it is just for my own sake...besides, i don't want to fill this place with all the food stuffs,....my all my blahb!! *LOL*

Neen----good girl for the exercise...and the keeping things in check today....you're on the right track.

I so want to take my little one trick or treating but I don't know who does stuff around here.....maybe next year I will just throw a little halloween party for his little class so they can dress up and have a good time...maybe set up a little scarey house in the garden.....

thanks hun, I will be looking for my books tomorrow and get some plans together for me and the MIL ....just need to work out how I am going to make the stuff for us both as she lives a few miles away...but trying to make it all work out...should be ok though....just have my hubby spend 1 day a week making our stuff....( get him to do it since i am always busy) but at least if I plan ahead it will make it better on the grocery shop....

I have started planning our meals again. I write a list of how many days till i next go shopping with hubby then just make a list of however many meals i need. It works out cheaper and we eat alot better... as its not last minute "oh we'll have pizza and fries cos it's quick"..tut tut. On the last day of this menu 2moro, so will look through my slimming world books to see what looks yumm and shop for it on wednesday as hubby has the day off.

kelly....we do that OH and I , used to to have one day of soup, one fish, one beef, one chicken, one salad, one freezer, sandwich.....it is much cheaper to plan out....just have to plan for my MIL now too....and OH isn't going to follow it....not his thing....but I will start to have a look tomorrow...

The link to rache's diary http://www.wlsurgery.com/wls-diaries...rough-wls.html it is in her signature so hope she wont mind.

Heartlands hospital(or heartless as us locals call it)is the old east birmingham hospital. It's about 10 mins from brum city centre. In rache's diary she said she said she had to change into her gown and go back to the waiting room:eek:....they had no bed for her and even when she was being taken down to theatre the nurse and porter were saying there was no bed for her when she'd had her op....trust it to be my local lol

That's not a problem I haven't been on my own diary in a very long time though so it's not really up to date atm. It's all thanks to Neen that I'm back actually she emailed ref this link for the bandsters and it has pulled me back, I was struggling with the way I felt ref the site for a while, now my faith is resumed.
Please don't take my experience as run of the mill as everyone's experience is different. I was not in a great place emotionally and that did impact a little on how I was feeling at the time.
I've tried however to be as honest as I possibly can.
Look forward to seeing you Weds Kelly xx

RACHEL: ive just gone through your diary - hope you dont mind...i felt like i was reading my own personal diary
i had a terrible experience the day of my operation at heartlands on 1st sept this year, ive had no support from dieticians since op as they all left and new ones havebeen trained...severe post op infection, and th feeling of being alone through this as been terrible...other than this site ive had no support at all.....ive been told today i can hav my 1st fill in 3 weeks time, but cant be seen again until march/april 2011 as they are just too busy...is this normal? after a fill what happens? am i just left to get on with it by myself still???

Blinkin eck:eek: that's a long time with no support, if this is the case and they are too busy then they shouldn't really be doing more and more ops if they cannot offer the proper aftercare....bit shocked actually and i'd be far from impressed.

What happens when you ring the dieticians for advice? When i did the mini seminar thing after i'd seen mr super, the dietician told us they come and talk to you before you have your op, they see you so many weeks after and we can ring anytime and they offer a great support and they were there for us and we should contact with any questions and we could go and see them etc..maybe not so true then......i really feel for you xx

Morning everyone.

Very chuffed this morning as I have just weighed under 17 stone which is a masssive milestone for me. i also had scrambled egg for breakfast which was lovely. I am trying to stick to a few different rules at the moment which seems to be working so far. Using a side plate for meals, avoiding potatoes completely and cant eat bread yet anyway. i am also trying to stay around the 1000 calorie per day mark although its usually more like 1300 with my glass of wine at the end of the day. I am really going to miss that treat if my weight starts to slow.

Does anyone else still drink wine regularly?

Morning everyone ! Hope you are feeling a bit better today CC.
I'm looking forward to another day of keeping on the straight and narrow :)

Still in bowel pain.

Elbow sore and i can't use it so well so push ups out of the question!

HI Leesh!
I hope you caught the Monday Hunks back a page or two x
Well done on cracking a milestone! It's how I'm doing it...get under X stone and move on to make a new easy to achieve goal.
I have wine on the weekend..but I am going to cut down a bit as I had too much last time..
Gonna use my RC portion pots to measure out a proper glass rather than my usual bucket size one!

Thank you CC, sorry you are not feeling too good. x
