John, thanks for the kind offer, I received it today. Can I ask 1 last question, were you given an inspirometer, if so who gave it to you, everything has been such a rush I'm worried I've not yet got it yet.

Yes, I was given it at my pre-op appointment, which was 10 days before the op. I used it from then till 1 week after the op and think it helped a lot with the recovery. You feel a bit of a plonker using it but so what!
