Contraceptive mini pill

Ladies have read somewhere that the contraceptive pill can not be effective aster bypass but my surgeon said he knows of no reason why it wouldn't be! So anyone had issues or been advised against?? I am only on mini pill and never had issues conceiving although been big all my life! Just worried as would hate to fall pregnant as we already have our children!

I was told that pill might be less effective due to the nature of the surgery. And i was advised to get coil or implant/injection.

I was told as I lose more weight I will become more fertile. So to make sure I was taking birth control. I am on the pill and they said that's fine, just need to make sure I take it religiously

I've taken the mini pill since 2 weeks post op and had no problems
