How are you doing Samsara? Make sure you eat enough, you look like your fluids are great, but not much food there. What are the stages the hospital recommend as they are all different? Xx

Hi Pooh, I'm doing ok thank you :) I was at a friends all day yesterday so didn't have my own food around me hence less food consumed than normal! I still had about 700 calories though. I do find it more difficult when I'm not at home, especially getting fluids in, as I can't seem to sip out of bottles without feeling icky! :jelous: Hope you are doing well :) x x x

Great stuff. So pleased all is good xx. I'm not great with fluids either, so I just make sure I have three big mugs of tea a day as a minimum and top up with a couple of small bottles of water. Food is great now, can eat what I want and averaging 1100-1200 cals a day. This morning I've had scrambled eggs with a rasher of bacon and half a black pudding. You'll be eating properly before you know it. :) Take care xx

Thanks to everyone who's contributed to this thread, it EXACTLY the info I've been looking for as my dietician was the only one I felt let down by on my team- in fact she walked off twice saying she was going to get the post op diet info, never to be seen again.

This thread helps no end. :)
